The Society has been partially funding the visits of some of the IT professionals for presentation of papers at renowned international IT conferences.CSI is honoured that the Indian Government has also entrusted the 'Computer Society of India' with the task of training the physically challenged so as to provide career opportunities to them in Computer related activities.

Independent organisation but associated with Henley Management College; run events and a network, do some research but main funds seem to come through consulting.  From their website: “In April 2000, Henley Management College developed a start up Incubator. Product Development Management Association www.pdma.org

Founded in 1976, the PDMA is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization. About 80% of its members are corporate practitioners of new product development, with the remaining 20% split evenly between academics and service providers. has UK-based subsidiary;

CeTIM www.cetim.org

The CeTIM is an international academic research and education institute at University BW Munich. Our domain is management of technology, innovation and strategic change. Innovation Management Competence Centres (CoC Innovation) was established in February 2001. The CoC Innovation serves as a means to address the CeTIM mission, as well as, providing an outlet for commercialization of CeTIM’s technology-based intellectual property through the disclosure, patenting, and licensing process.

Academic research initiative, based at Cass Business School in London (formerly City Business School); launched June 2004; according to its website it has a dual focus:
